Hello readers, this could be my last work in this year. Well, the work that I did is a story using storybird. Storybird is a site to do stories for children or to the whole family. Results of the form

Hello readers, do you remenber the form about fast food restaurants? OK, I have your results. When I asked you why did you go to this restaurants, the majority of you answered that because they are cheap and because they give you presents. To the question how often do you go to this restaurants, most of you answered once a year and few of you every week. The next question answers are more general, all of your answers about what do you thing about this restaurants are different, some said that are satisfied, others said that are quite satisfied and others said the theay hate this restaurants. These are the averages of the last question of the form, they are  in a scale from 1 to 5:  the food 3,1, the sevice 2,9, the hygiene 3,2, the space 3,2 and the amount of food 3,3. Hello, readers. I'm finishing the course and the last work that I did is a form about fast food restaurants. Subtitling videos in DotSub

Hello readers, I am just in the last step of the course. Do you know what DotSub is for? It is a webpage to subtitle videos into any language. The first thing that I did was to create an account in Dotsub and later uploaded a video. I uploaded the video of Stir it up, a song by Bob Marley. After that I started subtitling into English, Spanish, Basque, etc. I have chosen this video because I like the song and it is very nice. I think that Bob Marley was a very good singer, songs are beautiful. Also the lyrics of the songs are good and significant. In my opinion DotSub is a very good webpage because you can subtitle your favourite songs into any language. Here you have my video, I hope you like it.

Europe crossword

Hello, readers of my blog. Are you good at doing crosswords? The last work that I did was a crossword using the programme "Hot potatoes". To do the crossword I had choosen the topic countries of Europe.   Is a crossword with the names of the countries of Europe and the clues are pictures and sentences. Sports mind map

Hello, we are already in the third evaluation. I do a mind map about sports using Mind42. Mind42 is a page to do mind maps free, you can include notes, pictures, links to differents web pages, you can play with differents colours, etc. The mind map that I do is about sports, I explain some team sports and individual sports. I include pictures, I make links to wikipedia and youtube and also I include notes. From my point of view, Mind 42 is very useful to do mind maps, you can do mind maps for example to study social sciences, to summarise the information if you have a lot and also you can share with your friends or export it as a PDF file.

How much do you know about SKA-P?

Hello, readers of my blog. I do a quiz about the famous group SKA-P using the program Hot potatoes. I do a questionnaire of twenty questions about the members, the CDs, etc. To do the work, the first thing that I did was to choose a topic. Later, I created a document in Google Docs with the twenty questions. Finally, I did a quiz using Hot Potatoes and later I configured the output.

The pursuit of happyness

Hello, we start the third evaluation and with this we have to do a new work, a film review. I'm going to do my work about the film "The pursuit of happyness".

Now I'm going to give to you some information about the film. The director of the film is Gabriele Muccino, an italian director, it is a drama and it was realesed in 2006. The actors and actresses of the film are Will Smith, his son Jaden Smith, Thandie Newton, Dan Castellaneta, Brian Howe, James Karen and Kurt Fuller. It was nominated in 2006 to the Oscar of the best actor, Will Smith, and also it was nominated to two Golden Globes for the best actor and the original sound track. Will Smith is a very famous actor, he have recorded a lot of films, such as Independence Day,  Men in Black one, two and three, Hitch, Hancock, etc. I have choosen this film, bacause    is a film that shows you that you can achieve everything that you want if you try hard to obtain it. Also, I like it very much because   is a film based on real facts. In my opinion    is a very good film to all the people because    shows you that the live is hard. If I have to mark the film from one to ten I will give them a nine.

WOMEN'S RIGHTS

The last work that we did was a glog. We created a glog using glogster, is a webpage to do virtual posters. We can choose between human rigths, women's rights and children's rigths. Here you have my glog.

The sport shop

We created our own business webpage using google sites. We can choose any type of business an hotel, a shop, etc. We choose our type of business and then we added the location, the information about us, ...

SLIDECAST

Hello, this is our first work in the second evaluation. The teacher said us to do a summary of the first evaluation. First, we did a presentation using impress, this presentation contain all the works that we did in the first evaluation. After this, we recorded it using audacity and later we uploaded to slideshare. We created an account in slideshare and then we made the slidecast.

Robert G. Edwards

Sir Robert Geoffrey Edwards was born on 27 September of 1925 in Manchester is a British physiologist and pioneer in Reproductive medicine and in-vitro fertilization. Edwards successfully pioneered conception through IVF (in-vitro fertilization), which led to the birth of the first test-tube baby. He was awarded the 2010 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine "for the development of in-vitro fertilization".

After finishing Manchester Central High School he served in the British Army, and then completed his undergraduate studies in agriculture at the University of Wales. In 1955 he received his Ph.D. and in 1963 he joined the University of Cambridge. In about 1960 Edwards started to study human fertilization, and he continued his work at Cambridge. In 1968 he was able to achieve fertilization of a human egg in the laboratory. Edwards developed human culture media to allow the fertilization and early embryo culture.

In-vitro fertilization meant a new way to help infertile couples who formerly had no possibility of having a baby. In 2010 about four million children have been born by IVF.Edwards continued a career as a scientist and an editor of medical journals and started to collaborate with Patrick Steptoe, a gynecologic. Edwards and Steptoe founded the Bourn Hall Clinic as a place to advance their work and train new specialists.

He recived many awards, these are one of them:

· In 1984, Edwards was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society.

· In 2001, he was awarded the Albert Lasker Clinical Medical Research Award
"for the development of in vitro fertilization, a technological advance that has revolutionized the treatment of human infertility."

· On 4 October 2010, it was announced that Edwards had been awarded the 2010 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for the development of in-vitro fertilization and for advancing treatment of infertility and noted that IVF babies have similar health statuses to ordinary babies.

His wife is Ruth Fowler Edwards, the granddaughter of physicist Ernest Rutherford and daughter of physicist Ralph Fowler.

I chose this person because in my opinion  what he did is very interesting. He give the possibility to infertile cuoples to have a child. This is very nice because there are a lot of couples that they don't have the possibility to have a child. If you want to see more information click here.

 THE MYSTERIOUS CASE OF HENRY

Once upon a time, in a rainy day Henry was at home. He was watching a horror film on the TV with his friends Mark and Tom. They were eating pop corns when the light went out and the door bell rang. They were very frightened no one dared to open the door. Finally, the bell stopped and Henry decided to call to his parents, but they didn’t answer it.

Nobody wanted to open the door, so they decided to open it all together. They opened the door but they didn’t see anything, and suddenly the telephone rang. Henry picked up the phone, and a strange voice was saying that he was inside the house and that he would kill all of them. As they didn’t know what to do, the three of them stayed all the time in the kitchen with knives to protect themselves.

But the time was running and nothing happened, they left the knives on the floor because they thought that it was a joke and they started sleeping.When Henry woke up, Mark and Tom were not in the kitchen, Henry started shouting but nobody answered. He was scared and then, the telephone rang, he picked it up; it was the same person.

This time, the same person said to Henry that he had Tom and Mark kidnapped and Henry was very scared and he didn’t know what to do. Suddenly, he got crazy,  he went to the kitchen, he take a knife and he inserted it in his heart. When Henry’s parents, Tom and Mark arrived at the house they started laughing, because they knew that it was a joke, but when they went into the kitchen they saw Henry with a lot of blood around him.

All of them were astonished when they saw the horrible situation. The police didn’t do anything because Henry inserted the knife. The family was terribly sad but with the time they assumed the loss. Their life was going forward until they received an anonymous call with a men voice. The joke was a not real joke, the telephone killer had appeared again.

The killer called to them again, and he said that one of them had to kill the other, because then the killer was going to kill both of them, and Tom and Mark looked to each other and they started crying. Tom didn’t want to die, so he went running to the kitchen and he took a knife, and Mark said to Tom that he couldn't do that, but Tom didn’t listen to Mark and when he was going to kill Mark... he woke up, all was a dream.

So Henry woke up, he went to the bath, he wet his face, he went to the kitchen, he drank a glass of water and he get back to bed. But then, he heard a strange noise and he phoned Mark. When Mark arrived, the lights of house went out and they enter in the bathroom to protected because they were very scared. But...

The killer have lot of material to detroyed all, he destroyed the door and Henry and Mark were there, so the killer take a rope and he tied them with rope. When the light switch on, Henry and Mark were in one strange fourth. Suddenly, the killer appeared and he tortured them. Finally, the killer killed Henry and Mark and when Tom went to Henry's house to visit him he saw all the dissaster.

Hi, I'm going to write an article about SKA-P a ska band formed in Vallekas in 1994.  It's one of the most popular ska bands in Spain, Europe, and Latin America. Ska-p was formed by a group of friends in Vallekas as a ska band. After a few months of rehearsal SKA-P recorded their first CD called ska-p where they laid down their lyrical and the musical style. They played in many places all throughout Spain like Galicia, Almeria, Madrid, etc. They weren't popular at that time so their audience was small. A song became hit, it was a song in support to the local football team Rayo Vallekano, the team of the neighborhood of Vallecas. In 1997 the band went on tour around the country and also they made a tour around the south west of France. In 2000 they  broughtt out a new CD "Planeta Eskoria" and  their tour includes France, Italy, Switzerland and Spain. They recorded seven CDs in total and two years ago they finalised their last tour "Lagrimas y Gozos". I think that is the best group of ska music and I recommend you to listen to it. Social websites

Hello, I'm going to speak about the social websites. I'm going to give advices to teenagers who want to start in the world of social websites and explain some advantages and disadvantages. Firts, I'm going to start with the advantages and disadvantages.

There are many advantages, for example you can speak with your friends while you are at home, you can ask your friends for help to solve problems, you can speak to your friends whenever you want, you can play games, etc. 

On the other hand, we have the disadvantages, for instance people that you don't like can see your photographs, people that you don't know can see who you are, people lie to you...

I think that the best age to create an account  in the social websites like Tuenti  or Facebook  is fourteen because at this age you become more responsible than when you are twelve. I advice to teenagers to create an account when they are fourteen or older and to verify their security. If they don't verify their security anybody can see their photos, videos, etc.
